Whats Good folks? Straight to business.

In order to drive traffic to the blog and to increase awareness on Gully Fam related materials, I will shall be posting ALOT more content here on TheRapDwayneWade.com. I didn't want to be one of those guys that run a personal blog that post every song, picture, news article, etc. every three seconds. (Whether it pertained to me or not, whether I liked it or not, whether I knew what it was or not lol) And that I still, will not be. But in hopes to connect with everyone even more, you will see a sudden rush in content added to the site. You will also see various updates and changes. I'm currently adding to/taking from/generally changing the site as I write this so bare with me. I will do my best to keep everything from crashing while bringing you the new music, clothing, video games, comics, and more that I find to be "that shit". Basically lol. Personal Diagnosis

What's Good world!?! Batman here. I just wanted to take a second to blog like I used to blog, like just reflect and talk about shit and give a fuck who's listening cause really I feel no one is. And I like that. I like my moment of traveling dolo through the cosmos. Just me, myself, and my thoughts.

To start it off man, I've been blown and/or slizzard like EVERYDAY for AT LEAST the last two weeks. Shit def. took it's toll. I woke up 9 am this morning. Sober as hell and ready to work. I felt like I been in a coma or worse stuck on zombie mode or something. I don't know. This isn't some religious I found God (seeing as that already happened lol), or condemning vices, I'ma quit smoking/drinking. But today I felt truly alive and vibrant. Something I haven't felt in a good month...at least.

The formula, the plan, It's starting to come to me. For this music, for my future, for my life. It's all starting to make sense. The closer I got to the labels, the less I wanted them. The closer I got to leaving this game behind, the less I wanted to. Music is me. And fuck what you or anyone else says. Whether I sell 20 records or 20 million records, I will make music. Whether I'm the young age of 22, (ala now lol) or 50. I will make music. And if I feel the desire at 50 to continue and pursue Hip-Hop and/or get on the mic as the Emcee, I will do so. Don't worry. Every day I get on this earth I am evolving. I am forming into my own individual. With my own style, own ideas, own thoughts and perceptions on the world.

I know I say this or something to the effect of this, rather often on this blog. But hell isn't Life like the current state of the Music Industry. Doesn't it change everyday and a new problem present itself? It sure seems that way to me. So what worked yesterday probably won't work next week when the game plan changes. So yes, I do have these "once I was lost, But now I am found" moments rather often. But that is the game. That is my life. This is my blog. Gone! - 1

1 Year Strong

Life has been so crazy and its all been so fast. But I guess that's the game. The music has been getting stronger over the last year and I'm beginning to love each release more than the last and thats what I feel Hip-Hop, hell Music, is all about...progression. Progression of your original direction. It's as simple as that. Hence Why I can say Slim won with Relapse as I sit here and bump it. Progression of your orginal direction. Breaking The Silence...For Good!

What's good world? It's the kid Batman, back on the blog to....wanna na naaa...you guessed it...to blog! Yessir, I am an asshole lol. It's in my blood. Well I been promising to let you know whats going on for a GOOD minute and have yet to do so. This was because I wanted to video blog really, but it's not happening anytime soon so fuck it. Regular blogging will sufice I'm sure. So without further ado...LET'S GET IT!

Label Situation:
Ok, I did the whole 365 and there's still time left but I'm cool. I got my own digital distribution deal for my label Gully Fam Records to be distributed to I-Tunes, Amazon.com, Rhapsody and more digital outlets. I will also be taking the independent route by pressing up my own hard copies of projects and setting up consignments with as many stores as possible, that will hold the record. That is for immediate release. I'm still searching for a physical distribution deal to set up but in the folllowing months I'm sure it will get poppin...hell digital is where it's at anyway so fuck it.

Ok, I know I was talking about Unique Cliche EPs, and My Pants Still Sag mixtapes and all this craziness. This is the official summer release line up for Batman. No release dates will be listed as I do not want delays to tarnish the releases. These projects aren't concept records, or a trilogy per say, but there are linked in one way. These are projects where I'm having fun, not taking rap so seriously and making music for the people. There are hard times and down moments on the projects and knowledge to be dropped as well. But I'm taking a more subtle, creative, and overall fun approach. I have a feeling everyone will enjoy these releases. I already feel as if My Pants Still Sag is my best work to date, yet the mixtape and album are better than My Pants Still Sag. What's Good World??? It's Batman here. It's about 3:30 am. Gettin' it in, smoking a bowl, bumping some music. I'm pretty fuckin' bored. There's not much of anything to do. So while I'm planning shit and working on making moves, figured why not blog. Plus I got pretty big news. It deals with my personal life but leaks over into the music. We'll get to it but first, How was everyone enjoying the leak of "Let It Rock"? I know I said last friday on the finished single but you all know I have a release date phobia, can't help it lol. But that and more is coming soon. I don't want to speak it on it quite yet because I'm recording and writing so much anything could end up being a leak or single. A lot of potential bangers. Feeling real good about that. I got quite few shows in the work. Not dropping details but I will REAL SOON. So stay tuned.

Well onto the news. Some of you may know I'm not some "famous rapper" and that I have had a job at the D.A.V (Disabled American Veterans). Yep that's right I'm no longer there. But here's the story, and here's what it means for my music. For damn near a month now I've been owed an assistant manager pay raise upon completing my training. It was to take my pretty shitty hourly wage up $5 and make it a decent one. Well they didn't want to give it up. My store's boss called and asked for it, Red, who's the other A.M., called and asked for it, I even talked to the main guy of our leg of the corporation...nothing. So I went on strike this past Monday and got sent home. Figured fuck it you know. Well while at the house I looked up getting unemployment when you quit. Which I found out was a possibility if you quit with a "just cause". I went crazy, I had to find more information on this just cause. And when I did the first example of a way to when a just cause case...Quitting because you were not given a raise you were promised in writing. And some of you may be thinking, Whoa, You're going to risk it? What if the tear the documents up. I got a personal back up copy of my entire company file. Yeah, I'm the god damn Batman. Fucks with me. Any who, So know I'm getting what I've talked and dreamed about for ever. Getting Unemployment while making music. Which means in a way lol, I'm getting paid to make music as my real job. This is fucking awesome!!! You don't know how stoked I am. This opens up so many possibilities for me to do shows anytime, pass out material, record more music, blog and video blog more. This will be a great endeavor you will all see. It's like Red told me today, They are basically giving me a huge thing of clay...mold something. Make a path. Yo, What's good world? It's ya boy Batman here. It's been quite some time if I say so myself, from the last blog that is. People are probably wondering tons of shit like, "What's up with the new music?, "Where's The Unique Cliche EP?", "When's Redik Dropping?", "Why Have You Fallen Off Your Blog Game?" and more.

Where do I begin to even answer these questions for you? I really don't know lol...it's been that long. Ummm let's see...First off there will be no "The Unique Cliche EP". The computer we were using to save everything to crashed. Luckily a few days ago with the help off Redik we saved most of it though. Only at this point the release date came and went. With that said a new free, full length mixtape is dropping towards the end of April to raise buzz for the late May release of "Music You Can Eat Cereal To". Which will include the single "Show Em How To Fly [Produced By: White Hot Productions] previously to be released on "The Unique Cliche EP".

Since then Red has been recording his material for "Hip-Hop, Pretzels & Chain Wallets" via our new studio set up. Including a Mbox with Pro Tools software and the "Waves" plug in bundle...just to mix and master on joints...Ya Dig!?. I'm mixing his material down as we speak and, woah. This will be an incredible mixtape I'm telling you now. It feels like a album. Not only that but I feel this jawn will get Redik alot of buzz and props in the next few months.

Me...I've been in adventures lol. I've been hitting up the hookah cafe "Cafe 360" pretty frequently. (They got a flavor called "Fruitopia"! It's that shit!) Lou moved around the corner from the work place so we been getting it in as well. We're prepping us getting together for a huge session in the near future to hopefully record a EP or some type of project. Hell even Wilson (AKA Subjeckt) has been popping back up and kicking it. He's wants back into the fold, claiming he left for personal matters and shit but I 'ono. Gotta talk to Red. Yeah. Oh yeah I was in a fucked up accident like a week and half ago. Ghost Ridin' accident gone wrong lol, long story short. I was dragged down the street for about two blocks via red van doing 30-40 mph. It's all gravy though, God is good. The kid got up from it, shook it off with some wounds and just got my House on. (Pills and a cane lol) Now I'm pretty much completely cool. Knee's one big scab but other than that I'm good. I'm walking around good and It feels good to be back on the move. I've really just been hanging out, being immobilbe writing and learning Pro Tools. Which I'm fucking loving. People act like it's the hardest shit to ever learn...fuck that. If you're experienced with Cool Edit, Adobe, or Acid Pro I don't see you having much trouble if you apply the same princibles and become familar with plug-ins.

I been bumping joey's new solo "Padded Room". It's a great release in my opinions. Lacks in a couple department but a orverall 4/5. I've also been banging all the Slaughter House records. This group is killing the rap game. Who the hell let them do this!? lmao. Better yet why aren't they signed as a group yet!?!?! Fuckin' labels I'll tell you. Lol, Oh Yeah 365 is still cracking. We gonna get signed. It may seem as I have wasted much of my 365 but I haven't. I've been prepping everything by getting my behind the scenes business in order. Such as studio upgrades, website/myspace upgrades and more. I'm currently interviewing different music attorney's and soon will be interviewing managers/management. Yes everything is becoming 100% official. Understand this is not a game and I'm crushing all opponents. Bat out! - 1

Wish I had a cig or black Scratch that, I'm trying to quit smoking again. Been doing rather good actually. Just a smoke here and there like literally 5 or 6 at max per week. Man, way off track but I'm anticipating that new Jeezy mixtape "Thug Mansion: Welcome To The Blackhouse". All the leaked tracks are fire, like seriously.

Any who, I just wanted to update people as always and vent and rant and just bullshit. Cause this is my blog, my little corner of the internet and yeah I be writing. I gives no fucks if no one reads/read this blog. Period. If you do/did I appreciate and love you, seriously. But if it's not of your interest. Cool beans, beans that are cool do you. I'll be here. Writing. And making these tracks. Regardless, even if I quit pursuing music as a career if 365 is unsuccessful. At least I think. Like it's my therapy. It's almost like a blunt is to me. I got to write, and spit and record. Listen to my records. Listen to Redik's records. I don't know why. I just like our shit. And it's therapeutic, and it's real, and for better for for worse it's out story. Damn it. That's why we got to make it. It would be so pointless to be sitting on material, especially if we were progressing because we didn't make it now. But that's what it is. A few people have asked why, or said I was crazy for this. Yes, I am crazy. I've accepted that months ago. But I had to make it interesting. The video blogs are coming I swear. I just ran out of batteries, but I copped the 16 pack of duracell yesterday so it's going down.

I can't wait for everyone to hear where I'm going with the new record. I'm 40% done with it soon to be 50%. And next week I'm going in to the lab to put it down. So MARCH 7TH PEOPLE!!!! Good Morning

It's 6:30 AM. I'm Batman...Do You Know Where Your Kid Is? Lol, What's goodie? Insomnia is whooping my ass for about the third day straight. Which is cool, because I'm not tripping. I actually enjoy these lonely, silent, normally cool (as in the temp) and calm nights/mornings. I just realized these are usually when I blog, especially when it's a blog aimed towards venting or retrospective. I don't really think I have much of that tonight. But who knows. I'm just going to write...and write...and write to see where it takes us. Let's Ride...

Life has been good. I can't complain at all. Actually, I really want to find a decent car to buy and whip through out the city. Other than that, I'm good. Buzz is up. I got new pictures from my latest photo shoot. And more to come really soon! (Pictures AND Photo shoots that is.) I've purchased three beats for the album (The Unique Cliche EP MARCH 7TH 2009 ON I-TUNES!!!! *shameless plug*) that I know for a fact are making the album. They're truly incredible pieces of work by their selves but wait till I add my vocals. Lol, yeah...I feel good this round. The goal for this EP I think is to continue where Outside The Outside Of The Box left off. More material thats personal, yet overall more commercially appealing, and at the time I felt I "dumbed it down" or went less hard with bars last go around. On The Unique Cliche EP this will not be the case. I'm rapping with a vengeance, with a passion, with a mission. I think I'm one of the best spitters in the entire city of Louisville next to Redik. This EP will prove I am. You can hold me to that statement if you wish :D. I'm in a entire new place, an even greater state of mind, with endless possibilities of happiness, creativity, and peace. I may sound mad hippy-ish with all the Good Karma Season talk or preachy with the glory to God mentality. But fuck it, and fuck you. (Contradiction? He's not done with me yet lol) I got to do me. It brought me this far.

I've also learned I was right from day mother fucking one. Seriously. I've always had the plan, the scheme, the blueprint in my head. It's just evolved and grown over time. The overall theme for my career has been defined, I just thought at the time it would be with different projects. What I failed to realize, that I now do, is that the plan was flawless in design, but flawed in execution. I was suppose to stick to the plan. That's why its working now. Same plan, different project, different day. If only I would have been on that so many months or years ago. But hey, I'm 22. That's 18 more years to execute. (Because, Yes I will retire to go produce or something at 40. I'm not Ric Flair...I won't play myself past my prime. Yes, even I will admit he did that and I'm a huge fan...WOOOOOO!!!) So there's time to continue the fight and perfect the execution of a flawless plan.

Well, turns out I was quite wrong on this not being a retrospective piece lol. Any who, what's done is done. I'ma bang a few tunes, smoke a couple bowls and see if I can't fall asleep. Tomorrow...I'm spitting a verse or two off the album and revealing three producers off the album. They've worked with some big name artists with buzz but that's all I can say. Gone. - 1

Hello world! Back again, it is I, Sir Batman aka The Rap Dwayne Wade. Sorry for the tedious delay in updating my personal journalism. Nah seriously, mad apologies. I been busy/slacking, I ain't gon' lie. Plus I was going crazy from the snow storm. Being trapped with no money was wack but it's cool cause it's all over now!

I'm still working on the improved edition to Outside the Outside of the Box. That's the lazy part. But the busy part is this: I have decided on a title for my first real studio online EP...."The Unique Cliche EP". I'll drop more about what the title means soon, first I want to let you ponder and take it in. I have also bought the first beat for it and am working on the track now, which will be the EPs first official single titled "Show Em How Ta Fly". You can look forward to purchasing the new album "The Unique Cliche EP" on Saturday, March 7th on I-tunes, Amazon.com, Napster, and more online venues. Look for the single "Show Em How Ta Fly" in the next couple weeks as well. After that of course it's "Music You Can Eat Cereal To" in later April/early May.

I've also been busy promoting the myspace. I'm currently trying to get nominated for the KYMP Awards. It's a local Hip-Hop award show and it's the biggest ish in the Hip-Hop scene locally. So I'm pretty hyped off that, hope I make it to the voting stages. I'm currently #21 on the Kentucky Hip-Hop charts on Reverbnation.com. I'm loving it. I'm loving everything. Feels like we got a good buzz going and it's going to continue to get bigger and bigger. Red is still dropping his shit. We're getting Pro Tools in 2-3 weeks and he's dropping his shit then.
